Laser Treatments

This relaxing, no down time, laser treatment shrinks pores, refines skin texture, decreases acne scarring, decreases redness, reduces fine lines and enhances skin health.  Laser Genesis, with our Cutera 1064 nd YAG technology, also targets symptoms of rosacea.   Combining laser therapy and light chemical peels allow this procedure to have no down-time while providing consistent results.  Patients report their skin "glows" and they notice the healthier appearance.  This treatment is designed to be done in a series, allowing at least three to four treatments one month apart, but six treatments are recommended for best results.

Our state of the art Cutera 1064 YAG laser offers the best permanent hair reduction the industry offers.  Laser hair removal and electrolysis are the most permanent solutions to unwanted hair growth. Laser hair removal typically takes between 6 and 8 treatments anywhere from 4 to 10 weeks apart depending on the area treated. Not all lasers are safe for all skin types, but rest assured our laser can treat anyone from the fairest to the darkest complexion with safety. Laser hair removal will not treat gray or blond hair, but electrolysis can. Laser is preferred over electrolysis for larger areas. The tip of the laser has a cooling plate and we also use cool packs to make you more comfortable during the procedure.

Instructions before each treatment:  Please shave the area to be treated the day before or day of treatment.  The hair should be very short to make the procedure more comfortable as well as for the safety of the skin.  If safe for you, you may consider taking Tylenol or Ibuprofen (with food) within the hour before your treatment.

Laser vein treatments are highly effective on the face.  It can also be used for the red little dots that can appear with age called hemangiomas.  After treatment, hemangiomas typically turn grey and then gradually fade away.  Veins on the face can cause some irritation depending settings needed.  Discuss possible downtime with your provider.

Limelight is an Intense Pulse Light (IPL) therapy that helps unwanted brown spots disappear, stimulate collagen and reduce redness and fine veins on the face.  Not all brown spots are a candidate for the Limelight.  Any spots that have texture or are raised are not designed for this treatment.  This does not treat melasma.  Freckle-like age spots will get darker and then flake off after one to three weeks.   For more information and to see if you're a candidate call/text at (209) 371-7019.
